How to Measure For Glare
Control Mylar Sun Shades
 NOTE: ALWAYS USE A METAL TAPE MEASURE & MEASURE TO THE NEAREST 1/16"!!!
- All shades come with universal brackets (inside mount, outside mount, ceiling mount).
- All shades come with beaded chain cord controls. Please determine if you prefer the chain control on the left or right hand side of each shade & note your preference on the order form.

Inside Mount Installation
|
Width: Measure exact distance between inside surfaces of window frame where brackets are to be installed at the top. Also measure the middle and bottom, and use the narrowest width. Do not make any width deductions.
Length: (Height) Measure exact distance from inside surface at top of window to sill. If there is no sill, measure length to point where shade is to reach

Outside Mount Installation
|
Width: Measure exact distance between the outermost points where the shade is to be placed. This measurement should overlap each side of the window by at least 1-1/2".
Length: (Height) Measure exact distance from where top of shade will be located to top of sill. If there is no sill or if shade is to overlap window frame, measure to point shade is to reach.

For Patio Doors:
Outside Mount Installation
|
Width: Measure the width of the area to be covered at the place where the barrel will be installed. Shade should overlap opening at least 2" on each side to ensure coverage.
Length: Measure the length of the area to be covered.
